Introducing Dr Burnette and CT Scans

Hey there, FurWell Family!
I’m back with some exciting updates and news to share with all of you. Grab a cup of coffee and a pup cup, and let’s dive right in!
First off, I’m thrilled to announce that for the next four weeks, we have the wonderful Dr. Melissa Burnette joining our team at the clinic. Some of you may have the opportunity to meet her in person during your visits. If you do get scheduled with Dr. Burnette, I want to ask you for your help. After your visit, you’ll receive a short survey to provide feedback on her level of attention, care, and focus. Your opinion matters to me, and it will help us ensure that she upholds the exceptional standards our clients have come to expect at FurWell. So, if you’re one of the lucky ones to see Dr. Burnette, please be my “secret shopper” and share your thoughts.
Dr Burnette grew up in Greer, SC working on her family’s hay farm and showing horses. She received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University and went on to graduate from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
Dr Burnette and her husband Destin enjoy spending time with their families and their dog, Minnie, and love to visit the beach or the lake as often as they can.

Now, here’s a secret we can’t keep to ourselves much longer. We have an exciting new partnership in the works with a talented group of dog trainers. However, we won’t spoil the surprise just yet. Stay tuned for more details in our upcoming FurWell Family Focus emails. Maybe with the right help you can teach an old dog new tricks?
But wait, there’s more! For this month only, we have a special service offering exclusively for our top clients. We’re introducing House Call Thursdays. We have 2 slots every Thursday through the first week of August where we will perform house call visits within a 10-minute radius of the clinic. Imagine the convenience of having our exceptional veterinary care come to your doorstep. ? Don’t miss out on this exclusive opportunity! ⭐Many of you asked about this in your surveys so we listened; if we see a high demand for this, we will see about making it a more permanent offering.
Here’s ANOTHER exciting development: FurWell has secured the use of CT imaging through Ark Animal Hospital. This means we can now offer full CT services to our clients at a fraction of the cost compared to specialty centers. While we hope none of your pets ever need it, we want you to know that we have you covered with the latest advancements in medical technology.

And now, let’s talk about an upcoming game-changer in early detection. We’re in the process of finalizing the details for an advanced early cancer screening test through our diagnostic laboratory! Not only is it incredibly accurate, but it’s also surprisingly affordable. Once everything is set, we’ll be able to offer this cutting-edge screening to all of you. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting addition to our medical offerings!
